Phonics

These are the sounds we would have been covering in our phonics sessions for the next 2 weeks. The children love watching the Geraldine the Giraffe videos in school so have posted the links for them to watch them at home. Can they think of anymore words with those sounds in?

Phonics Play

Your child can access the website Phonics Play to play phonics games looking at the sounds they know, segmenting and blending. They will recognise some of these games from the ones that we play in our Phonics sessions in Year 1.

BBC Bitesize Lessons

Bitesize has 150 new lessons every week to keep you on track with your learning. You'll find daily lessons for homeschooling in Maths and English for every year group, as well as regular lessons in Science, History, Geography and more.  The homeschooling lessons have been created with teachers and other educational experts. They feature a mix of videos, animations, practice activities, quizzes and games.
