Spring Term Second Half Message
I cannot believe we are now halfway through the year! Here's to another term of busy learning! This half term we will be learning all about The Beatles in our 'The Fab Four' topic before moving on to looking at The Rule of Law and British Values. In week 3 we will be taking a trip 'Down at the Bottom of the Garden' to learn all about animal habitats before finishing the half term with our RE topic 'Jesus, the Son of God'.
Year 4's weekly homework is incorporated into the nine sections of the Homework Grid. The Homework Grid needs to be completed weekly and signed/dated by a parent or guardian. This will be checked on the same day as the planner.
The children are expected to read to an adult at home at least three times a week, if not daily. The planner must then be signed by the adult.
Spellings and Times Tables
Things to Remember
Spring Term Second Half - Our half term focus will be indoors and we will be looking at dance as well as gymnastics. SWIMMING IS EVERY MONDAY.
Children must bring in any Library books which have been taken home to be read/shared.
This is sent home every night for easy communication with parents. It must be sent into school each day inside the book bag.
The planner must be signed weekly by a parent or guardian.
All children's planners will be checked on a set day, details of which can be found at the front of the planner.
