Autumn 2 Message from Miss Blyden
Hello from myself and the Year 5 team of Mrs Pilling and Mrs Butterworth. Another half-term together filled with lots of busy learning.
This is a 7 week half term and we will be learning lots through five fantastic topics. First, we will be adventuring into Africa in our ‘Nitakwenda Kuimba’ art and music topic. Then, we will be rehearsing our class assembly and practising our oracy and drama skills. We invite you to come along and watch us on Monday the 27th November. Then, we will be researching the ‘Mayans’ in our history topic and learning lots of new French vocabulary in our first ‘Vive La France’ French topic. Finally, we will be looking at ‘Christmas around the World’ in our RE and Geography topic.
Thank you for all of your support.
Let’s have a fun-filled half term with lots of learning!
